Cranberry and Orange Sauce recipe
This orange-infused cranberry sauce is a holiday delight that you will want to eat year-round!
Ingredients:
2 cups orange juice
1 ½ cups brown sugar
4 cups fresh cranberries
1 orange, zested
Directions:
1) Combine juice and sugar in a medium pot over medium-low heat; cook until sugar dissolves, stirring.
2) Add cranberries and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat; cook without stirring until cranberries pop. Remove from heat and mix in orange zest. Pour into a serving dish and chill at least 4 hours.

This recipe is simple and delicious. I served it in a pineapple shell, and that may have made it a little sweeter. Also had to substitute kumquats for the orange zest, but it didn't hurt the orange taste. It's fantastic over ice cream.
This was delicious! I used tangerines instead of regular oranges, so it was a little tart. I put some over steamed wild rice. Terrific!
